ORRVILLE, Ohio (March 4, 2016) – Aultman Orrville Hospital board of directors is pleased to announce its newest member, Diane Jarrett. Diane was honored to join the board in early 2016.

A 1984 Norwayne High School and Wayne County Schools Career Center graduate of the practical nursing program, Diane went on to study nursing at Kent State University. While attending KSU, Diane held many health care-related employment positions, including home health care, hospital and urgent care, physician multispecialty practice, nursing homes and blood collections with the American Red Cross.

“We are very excited that Diane has accepted a position on our advisory board.  Diane is an expert in both business development and community wellness,” Dr. Marchelle Suppan DPM, MBA, president and CEO of Aultman Orrville Hospital said. “It is the strategic vision at Aultman Orrville Hospital to lead our community to improved health.  Diane will add the knowledge, expertise and experience to our board to help us make that happen.”

Diane has a passion for giving back and serving others, so becoming a member of Aultman Orrville’s board was a very fitting move for her. “I try to live my faith by loving and serving my family and others,” Diane shared. She has served as co-chair of the Orrville Salvation Army building committee. Diane is currently serving on the Wayne County Children Services Board and Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation board of trustees, where she has been a member of both since 2007. She also previously volunteered at Orrville Schools with the Ohio Reads program and the Wayne County Schools Career Center with the High Schools That Work program.

Diane and her husband Mike are devoted to the region’s economic development and have been very busy over the past nearly two decades launching several businesses while upholding their volunteer commitments in the community. The couple began their entrepreneurship endeavors with the launch of their first business, PackShip USA, in 1998. They have since added several companies to the list including Jarrett Logistics, Zephyrs Fitness, CrossFit Orrville, Jarrett Fleet Services, Old Carolina Barbecue Company and Baja West Coast Kitchen. They enjoy being able to manage a great collection of companies in industries they are passionate about while working with an amazing group of employees.

When Diane and Mike aren’t busy running multiple businesses and fulfilling their philanthropic dedications, they are spending as much time as they can with their two daughters – Lexi, 21, and Maddie, 20 – who both attend college at the University of Toledo. Lexi is currently in graduate school working toward her MBA, and Maddie will finish her undergraduate degree this spring and begin law school at the University of Toledo next fall.

Diane also enjoys CrossFit and is an avid supporter of the University of Toledo’s track and field team, where she frequently visits to watch her two daughters train and compete in pole vault for the university.

Diane has been involved with many organizations and takes pride in the opportunity to serve others. She will be a great asset to the Aultman Orrville Hospital board.
