The Laboratory provides a full range of diagnostic laboratory services performed by a skilled team of pathologists, technologists, technicians and phlebotomists. Using the most sophisticated computerized test equipment, staff members evaluate body fluids, blood samples and tissue samples to help diagnose and treat various diseases. The laboratory is also responsible for providing blood and blood products for transfusion to patients. State-of-the-art laboratory testing is performed 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure timely test results.
Aultman Orrville’s Laboratory is a full-service Joint Commission accredited Laboratory. Our goal is to provide the right test that leads to the right diagnosis and the right treatment. Providing inpatient and outpatient services, the full lab consists of:
- Hematology/Coagulation
- Chemistry
- Microbiology (Sent Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio)
- Board-certified pathology services
- Blood Bank
- Urinalysis
Through a contract with American Red Cross, Aultman Orrville provides a safe blood supply for our community.
