Aultman Announces Free HealthTalks for June

Aultman Hospital presents the following free HealthTalks programs during the month of June. Seating for all HealthTalks is limited, and reservations are required. June 10: Know Your Numbers will be presented by Amelia Laing, M.D., obstetrician/gynecologist, at Keim Lumber in Charm, Ohio, at 5:30 p.m. Blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol – these are just some of the numbers people need to know. Why? Dr. Laing will answer that question and more.

June 11: Robotic Total Joint Replacement Surgery will be presented by Matthew Stonestreet, M.D., orthopedic surgeon, at Aultman West at 6 p.m. Join Dr. Stonestreet to learn about how this technology can be used to improve accuracy, care and patient outcomes in hip and knee replacement surgery.

June 12: Varicose Veins will be presented by Brett Butler, M.D., Regional Vascular, at North Canton Medical Center at 6 p.m. Learn techniques to reduce discomfort and progression of varicose veins, as well as when to seek medical assistance.

June 13: ABCs of Medicare will be presented by a representative from AultCare’s PrimeTime Health Plan at North Canton Medical Center at 6 p.m. Learn what people need to know as they approach Medicare eligibility. This educational meeting will help individuals and their loved ones navigate through the Medicare network as they prepare for tomorrow.

June 18: ABCs of Medicare will be presented by a representative from AultCare’s PrimeTime Health Plan at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital at 6 p.m. Learn what people need to know as they approach Medicare eligibility. This educational meeting will help individuals and their loved ones navigate through the Medicare network as they prepare for tomorrow.

June 18: Mobility Through Yoga and Massage will be presented by Lyn Sabino, LMT, RYT200, licensed massage therapist and certified yoga instructor, at North Canton Medical Center at 2 p.m. Learn how yoga, therapeutic movement and massage can enhance physical and mental health. Join Sabino to practice some gentle movement and breathing techniques.

June 20: ABCs of Medicare will be presented by a representative from AultCare’s PrimeTime Health Plan at Massillon Recreation Center at 6 p.m. Learn what people need to know as they approach Medicare eligibility. This educational meeting will help individuals and their loved ones navigate through the Medicare network as they prepare for tomorrow.

June 21: Living with Edema will be presented by Thomas Groner, DPM, Ankle & Foot Care Centers, at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital at noon. Dr. Groner will discuss the causes and treatment of swelling of the legs and prevention and treatment of leg wounds.

June 25: ABCs of Medicare will be presented by a representative from AultCare’s PrimeTime Health Plan at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital at 6 p.m. Learn what people need to know as they approach Medicare eligibility. This educational meeting will help individuals and their loved ones navigate through the Medicare network as they prepare for tomorrow.

June 26: ABCs of Medicare will be presented by a representative from AultCare’s PrimeTime Health Plan at Aultman Orrville Hospital at 6 p.m. Learn what people need to know as they approach Medicare eligibility. This educational meeting will help individuals and their loved ones navigate through the Medicare network as they prepare for tomorrow.

June 27: Imaging Roundtable will be presented by Kimberly Masters, certified radiology administrator, at Aultman Orrville Hospital at 6 p.m. Masters will lead a roundtable discussion about imaging services available at Aultman Orrville Hospital, including 3D mammography.
