April COPD Support Group

by Kristi Spuhler | Mar 22, 2018
ORRVILLE, Ohio (March 22, 2018) – Aultman Orrville Hospital will offer a free chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) support group designed to teach patients, families and caregivers how to help manage COPD symptoms. The next group meeting will be held on Thursday, April 5, from 6 – 7 p.m. in the Aultman Orrville Conference Room.

A chronic lung disease, COPD gets worse over time and causes breathing difficulty. Although COPD is not curable, it can be managed.

The COPD support group is held on the first Thursday of every month. The program is free and open to the community. Participants will attend a one-hour session that includes an educational lecture followed by a question-and-answer time regarding the lecture topic, as well as other concerns patients may be experiencing.
