February is Random Acts of Kindness Month, and to help spread the word about kindness, Aultman Orrville Hospital is holding a poster contest for Wayne County high school students. The grand prize is a $100 gift card.
Poster entries are due by midnight on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020. Each qualifying poster will be posted to the Aultman Orrville Hospital Facebook page, where the community can vote on the posters from Monday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 21.
The three posters that receive the most likes from the community will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The panel will base its judging on the poster’s theme, creativity, artistic quality and neatness. The grand prize will be awarded on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Posters should be emailed as an attachment to Angela Watkins, communications specialist, at angela.watkins@aultman.com. In turn, each entrant will be emailed a consent form that must be signed by the parent or guardian and emailed back to Watkins no later than noon on Thursday, Feb. 13. In creating the poster, students should not illustrate any brand names or other trademarked products. This will result in automatic disqualification of the poster.
