Aultman Orrville Hospital (AOH) is offering a childbirth class on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room, as well as a COPD support group on Feb. 6, from 6 – 7 p.m. in the Aultman Orrville Conference Room.
The childbirth class is conducted by a nurse and an international board-certified lactation consultant, and the last hour of class focuses on breast feeding and may be attended separately from the rest of the course. Cost of the all-day class is $50 and includes two lunches. If you are only attending the one-hour breast-feeding session, the cost is $10.
To learn more or to register, contact the AOH Birth Center at 330-684-4701.
The COPD support group is held on the first Thursday of every month and seeks to teach patients, families and caregivers how to manage COPD symptoms. The program is free and open to the community. Participants attend a one-hour session that includes an education lecture followed by a question and answer time regarding the lecture topic, as well as other concerns patients might be experiencing.
