ORRVILLE, Ohio (Jan. 6, 2020) – Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness (AOSW) will be adding three new yoga classes in 2020, as well as a boot-camp-style exercise class for people who are 60 and older.
The yoga classes include:
- Yoga Basics – This will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. Using Vinyasa Yoga, this beginner/intermediate class will lead participants through poses linked together to create strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. The class will also focus on breathing and relaxation to help reduce stress.
- Yoga: Learn-by-Doing – This class will be held the second Monday of the month from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. The class format will select poses for each class that will help participants improve their yoga practice.
- Chair Yoga & Stretch – This class will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 to 10:30 a.m. This is a beginner/intermediate class that uses chair-based yoga poses and stretches to focus on gentle stretching and strengthening. It will also incorporate breathing and relaxation poses to help reduce stress.
The new boot-camp-style exercise class is called “Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM) Gold,” and it is designed specifically for older adult using circuits, complexes and strength/conditioning drills.
