Aultman Orrville Hospital will host an open house Friday, April 26, from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The event will take place in the hospital’s community room. The event is free and open to the public.
Featured at the event will be Stryker’s Mako robotic-arm assisted knee system. AOH is the first hospital in Wayne County with Stryker’s Mako robotic-arm assisted knee system. Attendees will be able to meet the robot, as well as learn about the latest in surgical technology. The system allows orthopaedic surgeons to create a personalized surgical plan for each patient based on specific diagnosis and individual anatomy.
Open house attendees will also be able to meet with representatives from different departments within the hospital, including rehabilitation services, the Transitional Care program, Dunlap Family Physicians, emergency services, imaging, sports and wellness, nutrition and dietitian services and much more.
No pre-registration is required for the event. For more information, contact angela.watkins@aultman.com.
