ORRVILLE, Ohio (Jan. 9, 2015) – Aultman Orrville Hospital will host three health talks in January and February, as part of a monthly education speaker series. This series was established in response to the community’s rising need for trusted, accurate health information.

 On Wednesday, Jan. 14, Lori Schaffner RN, CTTS, from Aultman Hospital, will present “Give It Up: Stop Smoking for Good.” It’s important to understand the facts about tobacco and the consequences of using tobacco. This session will provide education and support for people who would like to quit smoking. Join the group to review tips and resources to help you quit smoking for good.

 Wooster Urology Dr. Miguel Proano will present “Interstitial Cystitis (Painful Bladder Syndrome)” on Monday, Feb.2. During this presentation, Proano will discuss the history of this disease, common symptoms and treatment options. Join others in the community to learn more about this chronic disease.

 Brett A. Buller D.O., from Dunlap Family Physicians will present “What is Osteopathic Medicine?” on Tuesday, Feb. 24. There are two types of complete physicians in the United States- D.O.’s and M.D.’s. Foley will provide information to help you understand the difference between the two.
