Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness has classes available this fall for people of all fitness levels. Classes are held at the Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness facility and fitness memberships are not required to register. The fall schedule, offered October through December, includes both group exercise and clinical exercise classes.
ORRVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 9, 2014) – Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness has classes available this fall for people of all fitness levels. Classes are held at the Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness facility at 365 S. Crown Hill Road and fitness memberships are not required to register. The fall schedule, offered October through December, includes both group exercise and clinical exercise classes. The group exercise classes include:
TEAM Training
Together Everyone Achieves More is a boot camp-style class for intermediate to advanced exercisers who are looking to encourage and challenge each other in a group setting. The class format includes group-training work and individual workouts to meet each person’s specific goals and needs. Cost for members is just $10 per month and non-member cost is $30 a month.
Classes meet each week at the following times:
- Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:15 p.m.
- Wednesday and Friday from 9:15-10 a.m.
- Saturday from 9:15-10 a.m.
Fit, Fun and Functional
For individuals 60 and older, Fit, Fun and Functional class works to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, mobility and balance. The goal is to be functionally fit for activities of daily living and/or recreational activities. Using a group setting, participants can encourage one another and challenge themselves based on their ability. Individual exercise time is also included to meet each participant’s needs. Cost for members is just $10 per month and non-member cost is $30 a month.
Classes meet each week at the following time:
- Tuesday and Thursday from 9-9:45 a.m.

Understanding Stress Management & Exercise
This weekly class includes 30 minutes of class education and 30 minutes of exercise and hands-on activities and exercise to help with stress management. The goal of the six-week program is to understand how the body responds to stress and learn tools and resources to help manage stress and promote a healthy lifestyle. Various topics will be covered each week and each participant will receive session materials, learn weekly stress management techniques, engage is personal appropriate exercise, and benefit from education and group discussion. Cost is $30 for members and $75 for non-members (includes a six-week membership).
This class will meet each Monday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for six weeks, starting Nov. 3 and ending Dec. 8.
Breaking the Pain Chain
This Arthritis Foundation class is designed for people who want to be an active participant in their arthritis management. The goal of the program is to empower participants to effectively manage their arthritis and related chronic pain through the understanding of the different types of arthritis and the effect of pain on the physical, emotional and social aspects of life. Participants will receive tips, tools and techniques to help manage chronic pain and create a personalized pain management plan.
Cost is $40 and preregistration is required through the Arthritis Foundation by calling 216-285-2836 or 800-245-2275, ext. 6416. Please register by Oct. 23. The four-week session starts on Oct. 30 and takes place each Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon.
