The Growing Healthy Habits Coalition is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Dr. Andrew Naumoff Healthy Habits Champion. The recipient of the award receives a $250 donation to a not-for-profit organization or charity of their choosing.
Any community member or local employee is eligible for the award and nominations may be made by anyone who knows the candidate. Nominees are evaluated based on:
- The impact of the person’s commitment to being healthy.
- Their personal or public efforts to enhance the quality of life in the Orrville community.
- Evidence they choose healthy habits and strive to make lives healthier for others.
Previous recipients include Dr. Naumoff, Marilyn Mahoney, Bob Witner, Dr. Jason Suppan, Robert Hornstrom, Keith Workman, Karrie McAllister, Heather Dean, Jenni Reusser and Sherry Leggett.
Nominations will be accepted until Feb. 8, 2019. The recipient will be notified by March 1, 2019, and the grant award will be presented at the annual chamber banquet on March 28, 2019.
