Volunteer Spotlight: Dee Spinks

by Kristi Spuhler | Mar 16, 2017
At Aultman Orrville, our volunteers make a difference in the lives of others. Today, we'd like to introduce you to just one of the many cheerful and compassionate individuals who support the healing we do every day - Dee Spinks.

Aultman Orrville AuxiliaryWhen did you begin volunteering at Aultman Health Foundation? I became a volunteer in 2007.

In what department do you volunteer? I volunteer for the Auxiliary.

How did you decide to be a volunteer? I decided to volunteer because I like being around people.

What do you like best about volunteering? I enjoy talking with the people.

What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of volunteering? When I’m not volunteering, I enjoy going out to eat and staying involved at my church.

Tell us about your loved ones (parents, spouse, children, grandchildren).  I have been married to my husband, Joe, for 16 years. I have two grown children – Traci and Lori. We have six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one on the way!

Tell us something interesting about yourself that many of your friends may not know. I used to work as a long distance operator.
