For those looking to lose some of the pandemic weight they’ve gained or have other weight-loss goals, Aultman Orrville Sports and Wellness will be holding a free info session about its weight management program on Monday, June 7, from 6 – 7 p.m. The event will be located at 365 Crown Hill Road in Orrville. Space is limited, and registration is required.
This info session will provide an overview of the AOH weight management program options, which are designed to help people reach a variety of weight-loss and exercise goals.
“We use programs supported by evidence-based practice to provide you direction through proper nutrition, exercise and behavior change to meet you where you are and support you to where you want to be,” said Matt Newman, dietitian at Aultman Orrville. “We will help you find the right program that fits you.”
Aultman Orrville’s “Transformation X” is a 12-week program that uses evidence-based practices to improve body composition, reduce fat, increase metabolism and improve metabolic age, as well as overall health.
“The body composition measurement and the three phases of the program kept me focused to lose the fat and improve muscle strength,” said one patient in the program.
Another patient said, “I never thought I could get my life back. I’m where I want to be with more energy, and I am more driven.”
For those who are simply looking to lose weight and develop healthier lifestyle habits, Aultman Orrville offers another 12-week course: The Healthy Lifestyle program. In this program, participants attend a weekly individual meeting focusing on nutrition, exercise and behavior change, as well as weekly weigh-ins, education, goal setting, accountability and tools for successful weight management.
