The instructors, who are certified childbirth educators, registered nurses and international board-certified lactation consultants, will educate expectant mothers in an anxiety-free environment using a variety of methods including lecture, exercises, games and visual aids. Topics will include signs of labor, comfort techniques, modes of delivery, newborn care and breast-feeding basics.

The last hour of this class is a breastfeeding session and can be attended separately from the rest of the course. There is a $10 fee to attend only the breastfeeding session.
