ORRVILLE, Ohio (May 26, 2017) – To meet the needs of expectant mothers, Aultman Orrville is offering a childbirth education class on Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the hospital’s community room. The class provides information to assist mothers with making informed decisions about their birth experiences.
The instructors, who are certified childbirth educators, registered nurses and international board-certified lactation consultants, will educate expectant mothers in an anxiety-free environment using a variety of methods including lectures, exercises, games and visual aids. Topics will include signs of labor, comfort techniques, modes of delivery, newborn care and breast-feeding basics.
