Aultman Orrville Hospital will present its April Health Talk Series, “Concussions: A Parent’s Guide to Understanding ImPACT® Testing.” ImPACT® Testing is the most widely used and scientifically validated concussion evaluation system.
Jamie Platz, certified athletic trainer, will lead the health talk on April 11 from 6-7 p.m. in the Aultman Orrville Community Room. Platz works at Aultman Orrville Sports and Wellness and is the athletic trainer at Rittman High School. Athletic trainers are a key resource in concussion management, research and return-to-play guidelines.
With concussions being a common topic in sports and for young athletes, parents and families are invited to attend the April health talk.
