A panel of experts will share information about advance directives on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 6:30 p.m. during “A Conversation About Advance Directives: Who Will Make Medical Decisions When You Cannot?” The free event will be held in person at the Aultman Orrville Hospital Community Room, and registration is required.
The presentation will feature Dr. Jeffrey Marsh, medical director of Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care; Bonnie Burnside, MSW, LISW, APHSW-C, social services/education team leader for Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare; Valerie Waldorff, JD, RN, risk manager at Aultman Orrville Hospital; and Jody Shoup, MSW, LISW, care manager at Aultman Orrville Hospital.
During this presentation, the speakers will share insights into selecting a decision maker, along with guidance on important conversations to have with those asked to fulfill this role.
