Aug. 5 Free Information Session to Feature AOH's Healthy Lifestyles Program

by Kristi Spuhler | Jul 22, 2019
For residents of Orrville and the surrounding area looking to improve their health, Aultman Orrville Hospital is offering a free information session about its Healthy Lifestyle Program on Monday, Aug. 5.

Unlike other health-focused programs that may target specific short-term goals like weight loss or diet routines, AOH’s Healthy Lifestyle Program focuses on long-term success, helping participants lose weight and improve their health while adopting those successful habits as a lifestyle.

The Healthy Lifestyle Program teaches participants about how to make positive daily changes by adjusting their nutrition and exercise regiments, and the program also focuses on behavior change, according to Dave Speicher, sports & wellness/weight management supervisor.

Those who choose to enroll in the program will have access to a workout facility, a guiding program manual and weekly one-on-one consultations with a team of health care professionals for goal tracking and progress planning.

The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness, located at 365 S. Crownhill Road, Orrville. For more information or to register for the session, call 330-684-4732.
