Aultman Orrville Announces Free Health Talks for April

by Kristi Spuhler | Mar 22, 2017
Aultman Orrville Hospital will host two health talks in April, as part of a monthly educational speaker series. This series was established in response to the community’s rising need for trusted, accurate health information.

All Health Talks will begin at 6 p.m. in Aultman Orrville’s community room. These talks are free and open to the public.

On Wednesday, April 5, Dr. Steven Widmer will present “Uncompartmental Knee Replacement.”  If knee replacement is in your future, join Dr. Widmer as he discusses a minimally invasive knee replacement option that could allow you to keep up to 75 percent of your healthy knee.  This talk will explain the procedure and how it provides a more rapid recovery, less pain and more natural motion.

On Wednesday, April 19, Dr. Terry Tegtmeier, from Cardiovascular Consultants, will present “Kale and Coronary Disease (Atherosclerotic Heart Disease & Plant-based Nutrition).” Join Dr. Tegtmeier as he presents evidence that a plant-based lifestyle (low-fat, nonprocessed, plant-based diet) can arrest and/or reverse coronary artery disease.
